Carrefour SA said Thursday it has reached an agreement to buy 172 stores under the Supersol banner in Spain.

The French grocer said the transaction has an enterprise value of 78 million euros($92.3 million) and is expected to close at the beginning of 2021.

The convenience stores and supermarkets, located mainly in Andalusia and the Madrid region, posted net sales of about EUR450 million in 2019.
